Working with John Herman Building was about capturing more than just a business—it was about honoring a family legacy of craftsmanship and entrepreneurial spirit. Through in-person meetings, I got to know John’s story, experience, and passion for quality home renovation. This insight allowed me to design a brand that reflects his core values: integrity, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

The project included crafting a custom logo, building a cohesive brand identity, and designing a website that showcases their services and client projects. The website features testimonials from truly satisfied clients and provides a clear call to action, making it easy for potential customers to connect with John’s team for bids and new projects.

BRANDING & LOGO DESIGN

John’s brand is inspired by his Maine roots and a long family legacy of self-employment—reimagined in the scenic mountains of the Wasatch Back. To honor that heritage, I created a color palette blending nautical blues with bold construction orange for a look that’s both modern and timeless, reflecting the craftsmanship he brings to every project.

The lighthouse logo symbolizes guidance, strength, and reliability—values that align with John’s approach to home renovation. Every detail, from the colors to the name, highlights his family legacy, attention to detail, and dedication to quality. The result is a brand that tells his story with heart, integrity, and work that lasts.

John’s website was built to showcase his high-quality work, highlight services like home additions, remodeling, woodworking, and finish carpentry, and feature glowing customer testimonials. It also shares his company’s story and mission while providing a seamless way for potential clients to contact him. The result is a clean, functional site that reflects his craftsmanship, gives an overview about his team, and makes it easy for visitors to explore his work and get in touch.
